How Do Your Make Your Hyundai More You?

Once you bring your new vehicle home from Superior Hyundai North, you may want to personalize it; and you can do that with accessories from Hyundai. Depending on the model you have, you could add anything from running boards to spoilers to seat covers and more.

Add running boards to an SUV or crossover to give it a different look. Running boards also help people get into the vehicle by giving them a step. Children and older friends and relatives will appreciate the extra step into the vehicle.

Roof racks are great for any vehicle. They allow you to transport bicycles, canoes, skis, or even a tote for more storage space.

Add a spoiler to your vehicle to give an already cool-looking vehicle more “coolness.”

Seat covers protect your investment – they protect the seats from wear and tear and from accidental spills. If you have dogs the seat covers protect the seats from muddy paws, sharp nails and pet accidents.

Floor mats come in many different colors and styles. Choose something with a logo that fits your personality.

For those who are avid hunters for fishers, you can also purchase extras such as seat-back net pockets to hold maps and hunting or fishing gear where it’s in easy reach. Instead of packing that much-needed hatchet in the back with everything else, slip it into a seat-back pocket along with an extra flashlight for easy access.

Dash pads come in many different colors and protect the vinyl dash pad from the sun. Once those crack, they devalue your vehicle and can be difficult to replace. A carpeted dash pad protects the vinyl pad from the sun. If you don’t care for those, find a sun blocker for the windshield. You’ll have to put it up each time you park the vehicle, but it protects the materials inside and helps keep your vehicle cool.

Additional accessories that you may need include sporting accessories such as gun racks and fishing pole racks also give your vehicle some personalization, though you’ll have to visit a sporting goods store to find those items. Everything else is available through Superior Hyundai North. Visit us today to accessorize your vehicle and make it more “you.”

Don’t Miss the Hyundai Genesis and Sonata at the World Cup

The Genesis and the Sonata have a special job, as they will be the vehicles that will represent the auto manufacturer at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The World Cup will be held in June and July; and it’s the perfect venue for Hyundai to amp up the entire brand. Previously, Hyundai used the Genesis and the Equus nameplates to advance premium market ambitions, but now the company wants to advance its entire line of vehicles, including the Sonata and other redesigned models you can find at Superior Hyundai South.

One of the ways to do this is to showcase the Sonata with the Genesis; and that is exactly what the Korean auto maker is doing. Both vehicles have been redesigned and both model years are launching about the same time, according to Steven Shannon, the vice president of marketing of Hyundai Motor America. Shannon also stated that Hyundai’s sponsorship includes exclusive auto advertising on ESPN and Univision during the tournament coverage.

Additionally, Hyundai is putting together a program to help dealerships create golf programs of their own. The company will help dealerships find local tournaments.

The Sonata has new engineering, is more refined and quieter, has a better body structure and chassis, more technology and better fuel economy than previous versions. Shannon said that advertising the two cars together reminds people that the premier Genesis and the Sonata come from the same auto manufacturer.

The 2014 Hyundai Sonata GLS features a 2.4-liter engine backed by a six-speed automatic mode select transmission. This combination puts out 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque. It gets 24 mpg* in the city and 35 mpg* on the highway.

Convenience and entertainment features include speed control, an emergency communication system, remote keyless entry, an overhead console, an MP3 decoder, SiriusXM, six speakers and steering wheel-mounted audio controls, and an AM/FM stereo.

Safety and security features include brake assist, electronic stability control, ABS brakes, traction control, and more.

Stop by Superior Hyundai South today to test drive the Genesis or Sonata. If you go to the World Cup, be sure to take some pictures near the new Sonata and Genesis so you can share them with us!

2014 Hyundai Equus Gets A Fresher Look

Everyone needs a makeover now and then as we lose a little weight to get rid of our chunky look and beef up those muscles. Hyundai has decided to do the same for its 2014 Equus, as the chunky exterior has disappeared and a sleeker interior is a welcome change to this vehicle as new car dealerships in Cincinnati are checking out the prices and specs to prepare for its release next year.

2014_hyundai_equus_f34_ns_121012_600

So what changes have been made to this full-sized luxury sedan? Let’s look at the few things that they eliminated. No longer will you see the chrome bumper appliques as those have been replaced with LED fog lamps. Also gone are the rear parking guards. So for those car drivers that liked those things, you aren’t going to find them on the 2014 model. What you will see on the exterior are the 19-inch alloy rims, restyled grille and the upscale taillight internals. The vehicle definitely has a more elegant and less chunky look, fitting more into the “luxury” coined on this Hyundai Equus.

The interior also has a new look, as Hyundai focused more there than it did anywhere on this vehicle. Real wood trim will be the first thing you see when sitting behind the wheel. You’ll also notice the new instrument cluster and center stack as the LCD screen on the instrument cluster and a 9.2-inch center display will certainly appeal to those tech-savvy car drivers. Rear-seat entertainment consists of dual 9.2 high-resolution monitors to keep the kids happy during the ride.

When it comes to performance, Hyundai carried over the standard 5.0-liter Tau V-8 with an eight-speed automatic transmission. So you’ll still have that great 429 horsepower pushing those big wheels down the street. Upgrades focused on the air suspension, allowing drivers to experience better handling. Fuel economy is what to be expected with this luxury sedan, as you’ll see the 15mpg in the city and 23mpg driving on the highway as with the older model. When it comes to safety, the 2014 Equus has the smart cruise control, lane departure warning and blind-spot protection.

Big cars appeal to some people, and the 2014 Equus is definitely a vehicle to appeal to those people who don’t mind that much car on the road. There are definitely some upgrades that people will love about this vehicle as the unnecessary items have disappeared. Hopefully, all of these changes will be enough to entice car buyers onto Cincinnati Hyundai dealer lots to purchase the 2014 Equus.

New Hyundai Luxury Coupe Revealed At 2013 Seoul Motor Show

Hyundai has continually wowed car buyers entering Hyundai dealer showrooms with their superb vehicles that radiate luxury and high performance. Recognized as the fastest growing automaker in the world, the Hyundai company has recently unveiled their newest luxury coupe concept at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show. This luxury coupe, named the HND-9, allowed the world to see what direction the automaker is taking when it comes to developing their newest line of luxury vehicles.

Hyundai HND-9

This design incorporates a sophisticated image wrapped around a high performance luxury coupe that appeals to high-end buyers looking for the elegant style that also captures sophisticated handling and engine output. The HND-9 focused on sleek exterior lines and character that makes the car appear striking.

Part of the design was taken from the reinterpretation of a classic sports coupe as it has a long hood, dramatic wheelbase and wide hexagonal radiator grille. Then they added the modernized touches of sweeping character lines running from the head lamps down to the trunk and sculpted rear combination lamps, enhancing the coupe’s appearance of elegance. Completing the exterior look are the dual tailpipes, butterfly doors, and twenty-two inch alloy wheels that will lower its overall weight.

While taking a page from the classic sports coupe and revamping the HND-9 to give it a modernized style, the interior focuses on modern comfort and high-tech capabilities. Hyundai kept up with its elegant exterior styling and placed this into the interior in the form of spiral-shaped metal lines, making it a fluid appearance inside and out. Comfort was not overlooked, as the seats are made of unique mesh that creates the illusion of different colors to the eyes in a teasing and elegant way. An optimized driver interface completes the high-tech design concept for the interior as it gives greater functionality for a superior driving experience.

Performance also has been increased in this conceptual design. Hyundai’s new luxury coupe has been equipped with a 3.3-liter GDi turbo engine along with an 8-speed transmission. This will give a driving output of 370ps, definitely appealing to car buyers wanting that high-end performance they have come to expect in a luxury coupe.

Even though Hyundai exhibited over 30 cars and 11 new technological concepts at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show, it was the new Hyundai Luxury Coupe that captured the audience’s attention. The HND-9 design concept definitely illustrates the great lengths that the automaker is taking to develop new car designs that buyers will want to take home from their new Hyundai Cincinnati dealership.

This vehicle also comes in two option packages: Leather package and the Ultimate Package. You will definitely want to check it out for yourself and be surprised by how many features could be placed in such a sedan for a relatively low asking price starting at around $28,370.

When you visit your Cincinnati Hyundai dealer, make sure to ask about the warranty. You should be getting the basic 60 months or 60,000 miles warranty, 120 months or 100,000 miles power train warranty, 60 months roadside assistance coverage and the 84 months corrosion perforation warranty. Hyundai Sonata Ranked Most Dependable Midsize Car By J.D. Power and Associates

Hyundai owners know that their vehicles are dependable and will last a long time with only minimal repairs and maintenance, but J.D. Power has released a series of rankings. Every year, J.D. Power and Associates releases their list of the 14 most dependable cars and trucks, categorized into by size and type of vehicle. The J.D Power rankings are highly anticipated by both the auto industry and consumers because they help clarify which cars are the most well made, and which cars need changes and improvements in order to be dependable. In 2013, the 2010 Hyundai Sonata was ranked first out of all the mid-sized sedans.

The vehicles are ranked on a range of factors over a period of 12 months. J.D. Powers and Associates pick vehicles that will be three years old by the end of the study in order to determine a particular models long term dependability. Experts keep track of the number of problems experience per vehicle, scored on scale of 1 to 100, where 100 is the highest number of problems per vehicle over the three year period. This is then translated into an overall dependability score. This year the Hyundai Sonata beat out the Ford Focus at second place, and the Buick LeSabre at third place, for the number one score.

This is the second year in a row that a Hyundai has been the highest ranked midsize sedan in the J.D power dependability rankings. Last year the 2009 Hyundai beat out all of the competitors. This should come as no surprise to Hyundai owners who have come to rely on the dependability of their vehicles.

As a mid-size Sedan, the Hyundai Sonata is known for its great features and excellent design. The 2013 Hyundai Sonata adds a number of excellent features and qualities including the Theta II GDI 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that feature Gasoline Direct-Injection ( also known as GDI) fuel delivery system. which has greatly improved gas millage over previous models.

Consumers looking for a new mid-size sedan will be especially pleased with the new 2013 Hyundai Sonata, with its great dependability score and its improved fuel efficency. For owners of the 2010 model who are looking for an upgrade, they will be pleased by the new 2013 model which can be found at your new Hyundai Cincinnati. Or if you are interested in purchasing the 2010 Sonata based on its great dependability score, we are also a great source for new or used cars Cincinnati.
