The New 2014 Kia Optima

If you like cars that are compact, but can still deliver real power when you need it, then chances are that you’ve already at least test-driven a Kia at some time in the past, and the Kia Optima is one of the funnest cars from the Korean car maker to drive. The Kia Optima has already won dozens of awards in the industry and earned them several times over with its tight control, durability, performance and comfort, all for a reasonable cost.

Screen Shot 2013-04-02 at 9.46.14 PM

So anyone who loves Kia should know that the new 2014 Kia Optima recently debuted at the New York Auto Show where it was met by those in attendance with a mix of excitement, surprise and trepidation.

The stylish new ride was presented for all to see in a midsize sedan style. The Kia Optima became Kia’s top selling car in 2011 when the redesign combined a great look with fuel efficiency and a low price. In the early 2000′s, during the SUV boom, the Optima flew in the face of convention and proved almost prophetic, given how gas prices would rise in the coming years.

Though largely a facelift, the new Optima nevertheless features some new features that prove more fundamental than fashionable. For instance, the car now comes with a UVO infotainment system. This will provide hours of entertainment and all the info that you need when it comes to those long road trips.

The front end will feature some pretty cool looking LED headlights while removing the gray plastic trim which some drivers didn’t really like seeing on their lighter-colored Kias.  A backup camera will make it safer than ever to back out of your driveway, while a whole slew of new safety features and interior changes will make the ride smoother, safer and more comfortable than ever.

The new Optima combines the brand’s trademark fuel efficiency with attention to detail and a more stylish design than ever.

The New Wonder Woman Kia Sportage

Remember when you first started seeing cars modeled after Spiderman, Batman, the Transformers, Wolverine and dozens of other superhero and science fiction characters? Well the new Kia Sportage is taking its inspiration from Wonder Woman, the Amazon warrior who combines strength with feminity in D.C. comics, and proving that female comic book characters do not need to be defined by their relation to their male counterparts.

The new Sportage isn’t quite invisible like Wonder Woman’s jet, but it does do her proud in its combination of grace and power. The grille features Wonder Woman’s insignia, emblazoned for the world to see, and the star-spangled doors provide an unusually festive look that will certainly turn a few heads when you drive it through town.

The new car came about through the partnership between D.C. comics and the Korean carmaker. The car is going to be available in limited quantities in the U.S. over the following year and should provide comic book fans with a very prestigious collector’s item (we’re willing to bet that Jerry Seinfeld is going to pick one up). The car was made in conjunction with the 2013 New York International Auto Show.

While the car may be too colorful for some drivers, the fact remains that Kia is pushing the boundaries in terms of stylish, yet affordable new cars. The Wonder Woman Sportage is emblematic of Kia’s innovative design ideas and their ability to come up with new vehicles that get people to stand up and take notice. The red, white and blue color scheme really draws your attention.

The new Wonder Woman car may not be for everyone, but it’s certainly easy on the eyes and is a refreshing take on visual design in automobiles. Now if only they can come up with a way to make the next one invisible, and better yet, if it comes with a magical lasso that makes people tell the truth, well then Wonder Woman fans will really have something to write home about.

2013 Kia Optima Hybrid

The 2013 Kia Optima Hybrid is one great looking car. Gone are the days of the odd looking gas saving vehicle, the exterior design of this hybrid (with some help form Audi) has changed a lot of minds about what a hybrid could look like. Throw in a nimble 2.4 liter 166 hp 6 speed engine, coupled with a 40 hp electric generates a combined output of 206 hp. While the Kia Hybrid isn’t necessarily the quickest off of the starting block, it’s not shabby, going 0 to 60 in just over 8 sec. This is a hybrid folks, not a Formula 1.

The interior on is also well thought out with all of the amenities that you’d expect to find and many that your wouldn’t, like a back-up camera and heated steering wheel as available options. Did I mention that the 2013 Kia Optima Hybrid starts at $25,700 making it more economic in more was than one…yes it gets well over 30 miles per gallon.

Check out the great review below.

If you think it’s time to take a drive into the future of fuel economy and look god doing it, you are going to want to seriously check out the Optima Hybrid. It’s light on the wallet and big on looks and performance. Come and take a test drive of the new 2013 Kia Optima at Superior Kia today! You’ll be glad you did.

Kia Is A Brand For New Age Men And Women

It’s a global community these days. With the progression of the net, what once seemed a million miles away and unfamiliar, has now become accessible and viewable. Take for example the Kia commercial below from Austraila below. For a country on the other side of the world AND in a different hemisphere, they sure are a lot like us. They want the same basic things any person would want, and apparently that includes a Kia. The latest technology that is in many cases more advanced than some others vehicles at considerably more the cost. The performance is there. The style is cutting edge. Finally, it has one of the best warranties in the biz!

We are all new age men and women, and I think the Kia brand and the progress it has made in America is quite remarkable. For all of the reasons I’ve mentioned above and for the fact that I keep seeing more and more Kias on the roads here in Cincinnati. I think your should take one for a spin soon and check out a new Sorento or Santa Fe. If it’s about time for a new car, it’s about time for a New Kia.

The 2013 Kia Sorrento Is A Smooth Ride

Those of you who have kids might appreciate this. Apparently the 2013 Kia Sorento is such a smooth ride, it’s perfect for putting the kids to sleep. Actually I’ve used this technique many, many times before and we all know that when our kids get riled up, a nice drive around the block is exactly what the Sandman ordered. It’s just so much nicer in a 2013 Kia Sorento, as blogger mom, Daphne Brogdon can attest to. in the video below, she calms her kids down by driving laps around the neighborhood in her 2013 Kia Sorento.

The 2013 Kia Sorento is a fully equipped midsize crossover SUV that’s smooth and quiet with responsive handling. Featuring steering wheel mounted audio, cruise and Bluetooth wireless technology controls

According to Kelley Blue Book:

The 2013 Kia Sorento is one of the best examples of a “right-sized” SUV – big enough to fit seven passengers in three rows of seats, yet small enough to easily maneuver through traffic and tight spaces.

As I write this right now, I’m sure there’s a mom, or dad out there reading this that can fully appreciate the value of a smooth riding car that’s not too big or too small. You get that and more in a 2013 Kia Sorento. The Kia Sorento is the perfect car if you are looking for a capable and family-friendly crossover SUV that won’t break the bank yet still has plenty of features.
