I remember when I learned how too drive. It was before power-steering was a standard. If you’ve never driven a car without power-steering imagine arm wrestling Hulk Hogan and if you lose you total your car on a tree in front of you. Of course these are things we really doon’t need to worry about these days because of the advancement of power-steering.
Now as you are well aware, anything on your car that has a moving part or pump is liable to fail as some given point in time…including your power-stearing. More often than not this is a result of a deficiency of power-steering fluid in the resivoir.
I found a great video that explains what power-steering is and how you can avoid any potentially damage by know what the warning signs are for power-steering failure.
A power steering problem will obviously make it difficult to steer. If you are experiencing such a problem, it it helps to check the power steering fluid level to verify that isn’t the problem problem.
If you are still having an issue with your power-steering, please bring it by, and we’ll get you back out on the road in no time.
