Everyone needs a makeover now and then as we lose a little weight to get rid of our chunky look and beef up those muscles. Hyundai has decided to do the same for its 2014 Equus, as the chunky exterior has disappeared and a sleeker interior is a welcome change to this vehicle as new car dealerships in Cincinnati are checking out the prices and specs to prepare for its release next year.
So what changes have been made to this full-sized luxury sedan? Let’s look at the few things that they eliminated. No longer will you see the chrome bumper appliques as those have been replaced with LED fog lamps. Also gone are the rear parking guards. So for those car drivers that liked those things, you aren’t going to find them on the 2014 model. What you will see on the exterior are the 19-inch alloy rims, restyled grille and the upscale taillight internals. The vehicle definitely has a more elegant and less chunky look, fitting more into the “luxury” coined on this Hyundai Equus.
The interior also has a new look, as Hyundai focused more there than it did anywhere on this vehicle. Real wood trim will be the first thing you see when sitting behind the wheel. You’ll also notice the new instrument cluster and center stack as the LCD screen on the instrument cluster and a 9.2-inch center display will certainly appeal to those tech-savvy car drivers. Rear-seat entertainment consists of dual 9.2 high-resolution monitors to keep the kids happy during the ride.
When it comes to performance, Hyundai carried over the standard 5.0-liter Tau V-8 with an eight-speed automatic transmission. So you’ll still have that great 429 horsepower pushing those big wheels down the street. Upgrades focused on the air suspension, allowing drivers to experience better handling. Fuel economy is what to be expected with this luxury sedan, as you’ll see the 15mpg in the city and 23mpg driving on the highway as with the older model. When it comes to safety, the 2014 Equus has the smart cruise control, lane departure warning and blind-spot protection.
Big cars appeal to some people, and the 2014 Equus is definitely a vehicle to appeal to those people who don’t mind that much car on the road. There are definitely some upgrades that people will love about this vehicle as the unnecessary items have disappeared. Hopefully, all of these changes will be enough to entice car buyers onto Cincinnati Hyundai dealer lots to purchase the 2014 Equus.

Remember when you first started seeing cars modeled after Spiderman, Batman, the Transformers, Wolverine and dozens of other superhero and science fiction characters? Well the new Kia Sportage is taking its inspiration from Wonder Woman, the Amazon warrior who combines strength with feminity in D.C. comics, and proving that female comic book characters do not need to be defined by their relation to their male counterparts.

The new Sportage isn’t quite invisible like Wonder Woman’s jet, but it does do her proud in its combination of grace and power. The grille features Wonder Woman’s insignia, emblazoned for the world to see, and the star-spangled doors provide an unusually festive look that will certainly turn a few heads when you drive it through town.
The new car came about through the partnership between D.C. comics and the Korean carmaker. The car is going to be available in limited quantities in the U.S. over the following year and should provide comic book fans with a very prestigious collector’s item (we’re willing to bet that Jerry Seinfeld is going to pick one up). The car was made in conjunction with the 2013 New York International Auto Show.

While the car may be too colorful for some drivers, the fact remains that Kia is pushing the boundaries in terms of stylish, yet affordable new cars. The Wonder Woman Sportage is emblematic of Kia’s innovative design ideas and their ability to come up with new vehicles that get people to stand up and take notice. The red, white and blue color scheme really draws your attention.
The new Wonder Woman car may not be for everyone, but it’s certainly easy on the eyes and is a refreshing take on visual design in automobiles. Now if only they can come up with a way to make the next one invisible, and better yet, if it comes with a magical lasso that makes people tell the truth, well then Wonder Woman fans will really have something to write home about.

Have a family and need a versatile, affordable car? You really need to check out the 2013 Kia Rio at Superior. Superior is the Cincinnati Kia dealer with the best deals on new and used Kia’s, so let’s take a closer look at what makes the Kia Rio a good choice.
What may first get your attention is the looks of the Kia Rio. It is a versatile 4 door with an available hatchback with sporty looks. It has sweeping headlights and side panels that give it a bit of an aggressive, almost muscular appearance. This is perfect for a young family who still want good looks and a sense of style in their automobile, but need the practicality of a hatchback.
The fuel mileage is also a big plus with the 2013 Kia Rio, with a 28 mpg rating in the city and an impressive 36 mpg rating on the highway. A new feature for 2013 is the stop and start feature in the Kia Rio that can boost mileage up to 30 mpg in the city. You’ll pay less upfront too, with a MSRP that starts at just $13,600.
The Kia Rio comes with standard safety options like airbags, anti-lock brakes and stability control. It has plenty of toys available to make it your own as well. You can add a rear view camera, Bluetooth capabilities, tilt and telescopic steering, AM/FM/CD radio with satellite and a USB port, cruise control, power locks, windows and mirrors and more. That doesn’t even include the exterior options that can give the Rio an even more personalized looked like upgraded wheels.
The Rio of course features Kia’s 5 year 60,000 mile warranty. If you are in the market for a sub-compact with surprisingly good looks, come in and test drive the Kia Rio at Superior Kia. Spring is a great time for a new or used Kia and Superior Kia has a great selection.
When it’s time for your used or new Kia Cincinnati, remember Cincinnati rolls with Superior!

It’s time to get a car as your old clunker has breathed its last exhaust fumes. As you head out to your Cincinnati car dealer, one question on your mind is whether you should buy a new car or a used car.
This eternal debate plagues almost every car buyer. In the end, choosing the right vehicle for yourself will be based on a number of different factors.
Budget: It goes without saying that you should buy a vehicle that fits into your budget and financing loan. Most people on tight budgets go for used cars since they are normally cheaper than new. But, nowadays, don’t be surprised if you find a new car that is actually cheaper than some used cars. If you are looking at average-sized used cars, check out the new subcompacts as you can find a small car costing $10,000 less than a larger used model.
Safety: New technologies and stringent vehicle safety laws have ensured that new vehicles are equipped with the latest safety features. If you are worried about keeping your family safe behind the wheel, go for a new car. If your budget only allows for a used car, pick one that is less than 5 years old so you will still have some of the same important safety features.
Maintenance: If you are the type of person who doesn’t mind getting under the hood and puttering around to fix your vehicle when something minor happens, then go for a used car that you can customize to your preferences. But if you aren’t car-savvy and don’t want to spend time sitting at a mechanic’s shop, go for the new car that will require less maintenance except for the regular service tune-up.
Warranties: Most warranties cover new vehicles for up to three years, and extended warranties will cover a few extra years or miles driven. You’ll also have the luxury of protection for certain parts and maintenance for new cars. If you choose to purchase a used vehicle, you may be able to get the original warranty if buying a certified pre-owned or you may get a lesser warranty and add to it. It’s better to go through used car dealerships in Cincinnati to have a better chance of getting some type of warranty versus just buying a car directly from the owner.
In the end, both a new car and used car will get you to your destination if you shop around and find the best vehicle for your budget. Keep your options open and select the vehicle that has the features you want.

Hyundai owners know that their vehicles are dependable and will last a long time with only minimal repairs and maintenance, but J.D. Power has released a series of rankings. Every year, J.D. Power and Associates releases their list of the 14 most dependable cars and trucks, categorized into by size and type of vehicle. The J.D Power rankings are highly anticipated by both the auto industry and consumers because they help clarify which cars are the most well made, and which cars need changes and improvements in order to be dependable. In 2013, the 2010 Hyundai Sonata was ranked first out of all the mid-sized sedans.
The vehicles are ranked on a range of factors over a period of 12 months. J.D. Powers and Associates pick vehicles that will be three years old by the end of the study in order to determine a particular models long term dependability. Experts keep track of the number of problems experience per vehicle, scored on scale of 1 to 100, where 100 is the highest number of problems per vehicle over the three year period. This is then translated into an overall dependability score. This year the Hyundai Sonata beat out the Ford Focus at second place, and the Buick LeSabre at third place, for the number one score.
This is the second year in a row that a Hyundai has been the highest ranked midsize sedan in the J.D power dependability rankings. Last year the 2009 Hyundai beat out all of the competitors. This should come as no surprise to Hyundai owners who have come to rely on the dependability of their vehicles.
As a mid-size Sedan, the Hyundai Sonata is known for its great features and excellent design. The 2013 Hyundai Sonata adds a number of excellent features and qualities including the Theta II GDI 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that feature Gasoline Direct-Injection ( also known as GDI) fuel delivery system. which has greatly improved gas millage over previous models.
Consumers looking for a new mid-size sedan will be especially pleased with the new 2013 Hyundai Sonata, with its great dependability score and its improved fuel efficency. For owners of the 2010 model who are looking for an upgrade, they will be pleased by the new 2013 model which can be found at your new Hyundai Cincinnati. Or if you are interested in purchasing the 2010 Sonata based on its great dependability score, we are also a great source for new or used cars Cincinnati.

The new 2014 Kia Forte 5 door will go on sale a little later this year and it is certain to be popular at our Cincinnati Kia dealership. The new Kia Forte 5 door promotes itself as a vehicle “where excitement meets versatility.” Versatility and excitement sound pretty good…let’s take a look.
The 2014 Kia Forte 5 door comes in 2 models, the base model EX and the sporty SX model. Both models feature a pretty impressive array of standard features including an infotainment system with Bluetooth and satellite radio capabilities, a rear camera, and leather trimmed steering wheel and gear shift. Other standard items include 16” alloy wheels and LED headlights.
The SX moves you up to 18” alloy wheels, adds LED taillights, seats with simulated carbon-fiber accents, and the SX has a front end and grille that is distinctively more aggressive looking. The Forte 5 door new Kia Cincinnati will be worth a test drive!
While the Kia Forte hatchback 173 HP base engine is a 2.0 liter four cylinder, the 2014 model gives you a more powerful option. The 1.6-liter direct-injection turbocharged four cylinder puts out 201 HP in spite of its smaller size. This engine is the most powerful Kia offers and will add some excitement to the car’s versatility.
Optional equipment includes a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, heated and cooled leather seats and more. The vehicle is roomy, comfortable, and at about $18,300 it is an affordable new car.
For those with young families, the 5th door and cargo area will be invaluable. The sporty good looks, smooth handling and more powerful engine keeps the “young” in young families!
Contact Superior Kia if you would like to be one of the first to know when these new models arrive.

If you’ve been wanting a new car but you never bother to make the trip to the new car dealerships in Cincinnati, chances are that you’re telling yourself that you can’t afford a new ride. That may be the case, but it can also be the case that you can’t afford to keep driving that junky old thing you’re currently pushing. Here are a few ways to tell when your old car is costing you more than your new one would:
You Miss Work on a Regular Basis
Let’s say you miss three days of work every month because of your junky old car. Already, you’re probably losing enough money to cover the new car payments. When your old car is cutting into your income, you know it’s time to swap it in.
You Lose a Tire a Week
Either due to damaged wheels or a bad axle, it’s not uncommon to see your tires popping way more frequently than they should. If you’ve been forced to swap your tires for used ones every five hundred miles, you have to ask yourself if it’s worth the risk.
You’re Spending More on Repairs Than You Do on Rent
Here’s the big one: a busted old car that’s costing you thousands a year in repairs simply isn’t actually saving you money in the long run, it’s costing you more than a new car would.
A good pre-owned car can be just as good as a new car for many drivers, but sooner or later you have to acknowledge that your old jalopy just isn’t cutting it anymore. Junky old cars can be expensive to keep running, they cause more headaches than they’re worth, and worst of all, they’re not even safe. A car that can catch fire or lose a tire at the drop of a hat just isn’t worth the stress. If you’ve been thinking of getting a new car, stop thinking about it and start looking at your options. We would be happy to help you find the perfect car for you at any of our Cincinnati car dealerships.
